Netflix Renews Another Life?

This Show Was So Bad I Didn’t Make It Through the First Episode for a Review, and Now Netflix is Renewing Another Life.

First, let’s just say that I’m not going to use this as a platform to bash the first season. That’s because I didn’t watch the first season, and that would be unfair. The reason I didn’t watch the first season rests on the fact stated above. It also lies in the fact that the reviews for this show are terrible. Let’s run the numbers, shall we? Metacritic has it at a 33. Rotten Tomatoes puts it 6% where critics are concerned, and only around 60% where audiences are concerned. IMDb rates it a 4.9 out of 10.  Those aren’t exactly glowing endorsements, so it’s a little odd that Netflix is planning to renew. Nevertheless, here we are talking about it.

Let’s look at a trailer at least, shall we?

I don’t know, space fans. Apparently the answer to the question we’re all asking is view count. Oh, you need to know the question? The question is, “How does a show that is pretty “meh” at best (as far as most are concerned) get the green light for season 2? Well, we have to remember we’re talking about streams here. Netflix doesn’t necessarily care if the people enjoy the content, they just need them to stream it. It seems, in this case, enough people streamed it.

Maybe I’ll give it a shot anyway. After all, I’m really not a hard guy to please when it comes to entertainment. Maybe it gets better after the first episode. Besides, I like Katie Sackhoff and I want her to succeed.
